Proven Results for Our Clients

JURY TRIAL WIN

Client rented multiple marijuana production lots in rural Lane County and invested substantial sums improving them, before landlord, who had agreed to defer rent payments until harvest, kicked Client and his team off the property, torpedoing Client’s business. Unfortunately for Client, landlord’s agreement had been a “handshake,” while the lease unambiguously required payment of rent prior to harvest. The landlord sued Client for nearly $4 million. After a nearly two-week jury trial, the jury found that the landlord breached the lease before Client, and awarded Client attorneys’ fees and costs.

EVICTION TRIAL WIN

We defended the same Client in a commercial FED (eviction) trial, and obtained a directed verdict against the landlord.
